Congrats to the Winners of the 11th Annual Street Pole Banner Contest!

“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.”

         – Henry David Thoreau

The Town of Tecumseh Business Improvement Area (TOTBIA) hosted its 11th Annual Gallery Without Walls Street Pole Banner Contest Award Ceremony on Friday, May 12th. A “Gallery Without Walls” is an initiative of the TOTBIA. This vibrant and colourful addition to our townscape is a visual testament to our local talent. Banners painted by local artists of all ages and digital photos hang on town street poles from May to November. This incredibly colourful and unique town streetscape is enjoyed by the local community and visitors alike.

This year we had over 220 original hand-drawn images and digital photos submitted that reflected this year’s theme. The 13 winning images will be hung on street poles along with previous year’s winners around the main street arteries around Town.
