Villa 92 Today
After years of working in the restaurant industry, including several ambitious entrepreneurial/ culinary ventures in Windsor, our mother Anita Fong made the ambitious move to build Fong’s Villa Restaurant in Tecumseh, Ontario. Together, as a family, we created a new Chinese food experience. From the outset in 1992, Fong’s Villa was a hit in the area. Over the years the restaurant became a treasured part of the culinary life of the region. In 2015 the family made the difficult decision to finally retire. It was hard for the family to say goodbye to all of the valued patrons who had become like family. But after 24 years it was time to take a break.
Now, Margaret, Raymond, Lucie, Michael, August, Markus and Chris are eager to welcome everyone back to share in our new project “Villa 92 Eatery & Cultural House”. Villa 92 still offers up a few of the familiar favourites that we were known for all those years ago. But we are also introducing some new dishes to our menu and we are excited for you to come and become part of our new experience. Come for lunch or dinner. Check out art exhibitions in our event space. Or keep an eye out for our music and literary events that will happen throughout the year.
